Diaries of a Nokia Fan Boy

Ok, so I know, this has nothing to do with gadgets, or Nokia, but this is my blog, so live with it. Its about a little secret of mine. Well, maybe not so secret as most people know it, but its something that I’m very excited about: Skiing.

To be more specific, its about a specific brand: Kjus. These guys make amazing ski wear and I just wanted to take this opportunity to talk about them here. To me, they are the Nokia’s of ski wear. And anyone who knows me will understand just what that actually means.

I got the jacket last year over eBay and skid in it maybe a handful of times. But in those couple times I realized just what a good jacket really means. The jacket doesn’t become “poofy” when you lean into a turn, and the sleeves don’t constrict your movement but instead stretch. Yes! The lining, the insulation, and the shell all stretch! And even with that, the jacket provides amazing breathability and water proofing. So of course I couldn’t resist buying the pants too. The pants, unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to try out yet, but I am very excited to do so!
